Product Lines and The Industries That We ServeThe late Dr. Stanley J. Buckman, a microbiologist and biochemist, founded the worldwide Buckman organization in 1945 in Memphis, Tennessee. He believed that basic research, combined with knowledge of industrial processes and technology, could produce innovative chemicals to solve industry problems. Microbicides for the pulp & paper industry were just the beginning of today's line of over 1,000 products: microbicides, dispersants, defoamers, polymers, coagulants, flocculants, corrosion inhibitors, scale inhibitors, and chemical intermediates. Our products are designed to meet the specific needs of each customer in such core industries as pulp & paper, water treatment, and leather. We also service the paint, coatings and plastics, and wood treatment industries. All products come with the Buckman commitment to provide the optimum level of technical service, which continues to set new industry standards. All of the Buckman companies are committed to producing environmentally safe products. We manufacture all products under careful control procedures to make certain that no pollution of the environment occurs at our plant sites. These products are designed to break down into environmentally safe by-products once their economic benefit has been achieved. Please review our REACH policy. |
